Covid-19 Update - Contact Tracing and Online Learning
As Macau wraps up the city-wide NAT by 3pm, 28 September, TIS would like to take this opportunity to thank our community and staff for their flexibility and understanding. To fully comply with DSEDJ regulations and guidelines, TIS promptly closed down the school campus, cancelled all school events over the weekend and transitioned to online mode the following Monday, which will continue until October 3, 2021.
We want to remind everyone who has been contacted by the authorities in the contact tracing of individuals who may have been in contact with the latest confirmed cases to please inform the school. This will enable the school to carry out safety measures and conduct further contact tracing if necessary.
If you have been contacted by the authorities, please contact Ms. Serafina Ng, the TIS Medical Officer immediately, to inform her of your current status, including your NAT results and any quarantine requirements. Please do not come into the school if you have been contacted by the authorities or have been in contact with anyone who may have been in contact with the two confirmed cases until the authorities advise that you may resume normal activities.

In addition, please be reminded that according to the Civil Protection Operations Centre, the Macao Health Code will turn yellow for anyone who fails to perform NAT by 3pm on 28 September. Please be reminded that you are required to display a green health code upon entering TIS.
It is important that we all take steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection in our community. If you are feeling unwell, seek medical attention immediately and maintain social distancing.
By working together and following the government guidelines, we are confident that we will be back in School after the Fall break and resume face to face classes. We cannot wait to see our students’ faces in our classrooms and playgrounds again.
