Jan 16, 2022

Below are the updated COVID-19 guidelines effective January 16, 2022.

Cross Border Students and Staff

DSEDJ announced guidelines for cross-border teachers and students in the Mainland from January 17. Cross-border teachers and students who live in key areas in Tanzhou Town in Zhongshan and Nanping Town in Zhuhai and who have been to Tanzhou Town International Flower City Phase I and Phase II or Nanping Town in the past 14 days should not go to school for the time being; the School will implement distance learning measures. Cross-border teachers and students who do not live in the above-mentioned key areas and who have not been to the above-mentioned designated areas in the past 14 days must hold a negative nucleic acid test result within 24 hours when returning to Macau for class. If cross-border students choose to be absent from school, the school will handle their attendance and test arrangements at their discretion. Kindergarten and primary students in this situation are asked to inform their teachers tomorrow and distance learning institutions will follow for these students.

Health Code

Everyone requires a green health code in order to enter the school premises. Parents of secondary school students who are unable to enter the school due to border restrictions or a non-green health code should contact the High School office to register their child’s absence from school. Those students should contact their teachers for instructions regarding class accessing resources and instruction from home.

Venue Code

TIS has posted TIS’s venue code in the school lobby for all parents and visitors to scan when entering the school premises.
