TIS Summer Camp 2026
Our camp was a full-on hands-on experience where learning felt like play. Over four weeks, campers explored new interests, built confidence, and developed skills across different disciplines in engaging activities and real-life applications:
Immersive English
To fully immerse into the language, our camp tackles English from every angle, strengthening reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to maximise learning. Campers learned structured grammar, then put it into action through engaging games using exercise words. They also read books and brought stories to life by performing plays based on what they had read.
Beyond the classroom, English was the primary language used across camp activities, creating an immersive environment where campers naturally strengthened their English skills and grew in confidence every day.
Visual Arts
Campers unleashed their creativity through a wide range of art experiences, from painting to clay keepsakes and molding. They discovered just how much they could create using their imaginations and the materials around them, turning ideas into real pieces of art.
STEAM
STEAM activities were a whirlwind of fun and discovery! Over the weeks, campers worked on many projects, including stomp rockets they launched using physics concepts and engineering design, as well as topographic maps they created, bringing their 3D models to life!

Chinese
Our campers took Chinese learning beyond textbooks and into real-world practice. Along with classroom learning, they enjoyed field trips where they navigated independently, read signs to reach their destinations, and applied new characters in practical situations.
They also practiced soft-pen calligraphy, learning the importance of this traditional art and developing focus, patience, and technique.
Science & Math
Campers explored science and math in exciting, cross-disciplinary ways. They learned biology concepts such as how many bones are in an adult body, explored chemistry experiments, including mixtures to create “lava” from volcanos, and developed their math skills by measuring different body parts and comparing results, finding out who amongst them had the longest arms!
This hands-on approach helped campers connect concepts and learn more effectively, using one subject to deepen understanding of the other.
Cooking
Our campers cooked up a storm in our kitchen! They learned cooking techniques and safety procedures, while preparing a variety of delicious treats, including cake pops, cookies from scratch, cupcakes, and more!
Sports & Fitness
Staying active is key to a healthy body and a strong mind. Campers took part in a variety of sports, including personal favourites like hockey and volleyball. They practiced serving techniques, learned game rules, and jumped into action whenever the puck or ball was in play, building teamwork, coordination, and confidence along the way.
This year’s summer camp was truly a rewarding experience. Campers didn’t just enjoy their summer, they gained valuable skills, discovered new interests, made new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to welcome you all back next year!
