STEM Day
Our STEM Day was a historic first for TIS, a student-led initiative from our International Robotics Honor Society (IRHS) Robotics Council. Designed for students in Grades 2 to 7, the event welcomed all those in Macao with an interest in robotics and programming. We were thrilled to reach maximum capacity just days after registration opened, with over 150 participants in attendance from multiple schools, reflecting the community's strong desire for such impactful learning experiences.

The day was filled with hands-on learning and creativity. Participants engaged in 3D modeling, crafting their own unique robotics mascots, exploring the intersection of mathematics and art through Hexadecimal art, transforming numbers into creative designs, and even venturing into artificial intelligence, with an introduction to machine learning.
The event culminated in a VEX GO tournament, where participants built, tested, and programmed a robot, competing in a series of challenges and becoming part of a robotics team. Supported by an enthusiastic crowd, participants had the opportunity to showcase their acquired skills.

STEM Day highlighted our students’ dedication to sharing knowledge and guiding others, uplifting their peers and contributing positively to the Macao community. We are incredibly proud of our Robotics Council, who continue to demonstrate leadership by becoming the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow, lighting the way not only for their own bright futures, but also for others.
