I am currently the Head of Wellbeing and English as an Additional Language (EAL) at TIS, which requires me to lead the whole School's EAL, and Counselling teams. I have spent my entire teaching career working with those students who find school and learning difficult. Our work means students build skills to overcome individual social, emotional and academic challenges. I have been teaching for 18 years and working abroad for nine years. Before Macao, I spent time in Korea, Vietnam and the UK. I originated from Wales, United Kingdom and lived only a few miles from Mr. Masters for most of my childhood, although I never knew him before coming to Macao.

I have a Master's Degree in Inclusive and Special Education and am currently studying for another Master's Degree in Educational Management and Leadership. I like to do most sports and run regularly in my spare time. I also enjoy playing and watching Ice Hockey, having spent 25 years playing it recreationally and professionally. In addition, I have recently been appointed the Treasurer for the Macao International Tennis Association, which I attend twice a week.

Having completed an 18-month journey, I finally arrived at TIS in early 2022. I am still super excited to finally be physically part of TIS, and I am enjoying the variance Macao has to offer. I look forward to discovering more restaurants, history and culture and building relationships with the TIS community.
