There comes a time in every student’s life when they begin to wonder, “What type of career should I pursue after high school?” While spending the first twenty years of my international teaching career empowering students by providing them with the necessary academic tools to become successful lifelong learners, I expanded my capacity to guide and assist you, the students, in answering this crucial question. Every one of you possesses a unique set of talents, skills, and interests that I firmly believe can be enriched and augmented with the proper guidance. Together, we will ensure you are prepared for the next stage of your academic journey and meet graduation and university acceptance requirements. My commitment is to work with each of you and your families to identify your goals and create a comprehensive university application plan that will highlight your abilities and realize your full potential. I am a member of the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC). To stay up to date with the latest trends in academic counselling, I have recently attended the College Board Summer Institute for International Counselors and a nine-week course on university counselling in international schools. In my new role, I will assist you in exploring career choices and finding institutions of higher learning which will fit your passion and values.
