Mr. Brian Rooney is a dedicated and passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in the Elementary classroom. He has spent many years in grade-team supervisory positions, driving excellence in student achievement and teacher professional growth. Brian views the fostering of effective relationships with students and parents as central to the development of a successful educational community. He is committed to equipping students with the necessary inter-personal skills and knowledge to be successful in an ever-changing world, striving for a love of learning, a growth mindset and lifelong learners. Brian completed a Degree in Business Management and PGDE in Scotland, has IB certification for Leading and Managing Teams and is currently doing a Masters Degree programme on Educational Leadership at Dundee University. His areas of interest in education include the development of learning communities, international education and student wellbeing.
