“We are thrilled to host the first Australian edition of our University Fair. Australia is celebrated for its world-class education, and we are thrilled to be able to connect students with new opportunities that can help shape their future” TIS Head of School Lorne Schmidt remarked.
In addition to the university booths, the fair featured a special Australian Government Information Seminar titled "Study Australia and Student Visa Program." This seminar provided interested guests with essential information about Australian international education and the application process for the Student (Subclass 500) visa, presented by representatives from the Australian Consulate-General.
The fair follows the success of previous editions, such as the Hong Kong and the United Kingdom editions, featuring top universities such as The University of Hong Kong (QS #11), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (QS #32), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (QS #44), University of Bristol (QS#51), University of Birmingham (QS#76), among others.
The TIS University Fair offers a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with university representatives, gaining valuable insights into their programs and firsthand information of opportunities available. Recognising that education is a shared responsibility within the community, TIS opened the event for all interested students and families in Macao to attend. Through events like this, TIS connects students with leading institutions worldwide, helping guide their next steps toward their academic future, empowering them to make informed decisions about their higher education options.
