TIS Tigers Perform Strongly at Spring Splash Swim Competition
The TIS Tigers swim team is nothing if not dedicated, showcasing a true love for the sport. With a fierce spirit, this mighty but small team competed at the Spring Splash Swim competition held at AISG on April 26. Against tough rivals, the Tigers placed 3rd overall out of 7 schools, accumulating an impressive 225 points.
"Every swimmer showed incredible dedication, earning at least one ribbon. I'm so proud of everyone, from first-timers to seasoned competitors!" said Coach Gergens, highlighting the remarkable effort put forth by each athlete.
The TIS team achieved the following during the competition:
🥇 16 Gold Medals
🥈 5 Silver Medals
🥉 4 Bronze Medals
The boys' relay team secured first place and set a new team record.
We hope that their dedication serve as an inspiration for others to dive into their interests and embrace new challenges. Swimming, like any other sport, is a journey of growth, resilience, and community. The lessons learned in the pool translate to life outside of it: discipline, teamwork, and a drive to excel.
Congratulations to these athletes and coach Gergens for their outstanding performance! Your hard work is a testament to what can be achieved when passion and commitment come together.
