Harmonizing the Holidays With TIS Elementary Music
Our Elementary students have been busy immersing themselves in their musical endeavours and spreading the joys of music throughout the community!
On December 2 and 9, the stage came alive at the TIS Elementary Concerts, where our students showcased their musical talents to their parents. With a delightful repertoire of songs ranging from The Twelve Days of Christmas to Deck the Halls, our young performers sang, played instruments, and even entertained the audience with some cheerful holiday jokes - "What's a Gnome's favorite sport? Baseball, because they like to score a gnome-run!”. Their multifaceted performances masterfully captured the holiday spirit, leaving the audience awe as they filled the Black Box Theatre with thunderous applause.
In addition to this, the TIS Crescendo Choir had the incredible opportunity to bless the magical Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Artyzen Grand Lapa. Their beautiful singing added an extra touch of enchantment to the festivities, filling the air with the essence of the season. Under the guidance of Ms. Doreen Stribbell, elementary music teacher, the TIS Crescendo Choir performed beloved Christmas carols such as Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town and Jingle Bells. It was an honor to contribute to this special event and spread joy through music.
