Caitlin Bass has been newly appointed Assistant Vice Principal in Middle School, with a leadership remit spanning Pastoral Care and Curriculum Leadership. Having served at TIS for 11 years, she brings extensive understanding of the school community and a clear, values-driven approach to supporting students through their Middle School journey.
In addition to her Vice Principal role, Caitlin serves as the Secondary Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that safeguarding and student wellbeing remain fundamental priorities across day-to-day school life. Her experiences as an international educator have taken her across Japan, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, China, and now Macao, providing her with a deep appreciation of diverse learning needs and cultural contexts.
Caitlin firmly believes that wellbeing is not an “add-on” to education, but an essential foundation for learning. She is dedicated to enabling every student in Middle School to reach their potential—offering thoughtful guidance, high expectations, and consistent support so that students can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
